In the Piedmont, gardening does not have to stop in the winter, but you do need to prep the garden space to ensure its success. From cleaning tools, to wrapping trees, mulching, pruning, and covering crops, there are plenty of garden chores to be done!
Join us at Miracle Grounds Farm as we demonstrate best garden winter care practices and help you prepare for winter gardening. We will provide research-based information on garden care and walk through tasks with participants.
This program is hosted in collaboration between N.C Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center and Crossnore Communities for Children. Information provided will be most relevant to community and home gardeners, but all are welcome to attend.
