Description:

When you hear the word "fermentation," what comes to mind? Do you think about pickles and sauerkraut or what about yogurt, kefir, kombucha, or kimchi? All of these foods are fermented foods that offer an array of health benefits and are rich in beneficial probiotics.

Fermentation is an ancient technique of preserving food and it is something you can do at home. We invite you to join N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center for this Home Food Preservation-Fermentation Workshop to learn about the science behind fermentation and the basic steps to produce your own fermented food.

For more details on this workshop and to register, please visit the link below. Space is limited and registration will open up 3 weeks before the scheduled workshop on Friday, August, 26, 2022 @ 10 AM.
