Description: N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center is offering a Dining With Diabetes Online Series designed for adults 18 years and older at risk for type 2 diabetes, those with prediabetes, type 2 diabetes or other insulin-resistant conditions, people with other conditions that would benefit from this program, and their families and caregivers.

Join this 4-week series to learn how to manage your diabetes and still enjoy the foods you love to eat. The series which builds on each other will be every Thursday morning starting at 10 AM to 11:30 AM. You don't want to miss any of it! Mark your calendars for each session, scheduled as follows:
-3/21/2024 - Session 1 - What is Diabetes and how it effect your health?
-3/ 28/ 2024 - Session 2 - Carbohydrates and Sweeteners-Learn the facts and myths
-4/4/2024 - Session 3 - Fats & Sodium - The affects on your health and the pros/cons
-4/11/2024 - Session 4 - Vitamins, Minerals, and Fiber - Learn about the benefits they provide

Also, at each session there will be a food demonstration and registered participants will receive a collection of delicious and easy to make recipes for main dishes, side dishes, and desserts.
