Description: Are you interested in preserving your harvest this year?  You have several choices  to from choose for  Home Food Preservation: canning, pickling,  freezing, and drying. You're invited to join N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center's Home Food Preservation Series (HFP) to be held in person, starting in May and running through September 2022.Most workshops are on Friday.  Sessions will be from 10 AM to 1 PM (This includes educational component and hands-on component). This is a time to learn, enjoy and not be rushed.

We will cover boiling water and pressure canning foods, jams & jellies, pickling, freezing, drying, and much more. Canning sessions are in-person and space is limited to 15 people. Registration is required for each session being offered, you can pick and choose which sessions you would like to attend. Each session will open up for registration 3 weeks prior to the scheduled workshop, schedule is as follows (you are able to set a reminder notification for when the session is open for registration)
