The NC Sheep Producer’s Assn. will hold their annual educational and membership meeting in Asheboro on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019. The meeting will be held from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Piedmont Custom Meats conference room at 430 NC Hwy 49 South in Asheboro. Topics for the educational program include “Copper Boluses for Parasite Control” with veterinarians Dr. Nikki Gooch and Dr. Melissa Gamble. A speaker from the American Lamb Board will discuss the promotion of lamb in the US. In addition, there will be a meat cutting demonstration by Piedmont Custom Meats as well as a tour of their state of the art custom meat processing facility.
