Do you love to cook? Are you passionate about nutrition and helping your community? Join us for a FREE virtual information session to learn how you can become an NC State Extension Master Food Volunteer (EMFV). This program provides Forsyth County, North Carolinian residents a unique opportunity to engage with their communities by supporting N.C. Cooperative Extension programming in nutrition, cooking, food safety, and food systems.

As a volunteer, you will help deliver evidence-based information through community classes and events, making a tangible impact on local health and wellness.

  • Discover the types of community projects EMFVs lead (cooking demos, health fairs, etc.).
  • Get your questions answered by Virginia C. Lopez, current EMFV coordinator for Forsyth County.

Session Times

We are offering two identical sessions for your convenience. You only need to attend one. * Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

  • Evening Session: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Note: A Zoom link will be sent to all registered participants before the event.
