We hope to see you at our spring 2024 Arboretum Adult Education classes. These programs are presented by N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, and the NC State Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Forsyth County.

Please note the location and time of the classes, as they vary.

The classes this spring are largely focused on growing vegetables.

Registration is required due to space limitations. Registration for each program will be available 2 weeks prior to the program date and will close 24 hours prior to the program. Register on our Eventbrite page. If you need assistance with registration, call 336-703-2850.

March 16 – Growing & Caring for Tomatoes

9 a.m. and 11 a.m. – Arboretum office (4201 Manor House Circle, Clemmons, NC 27012)

Gain hands-on experience starting tomato plants from seeds. The presentation will also cover different types of tomatoes and useful tips for growing tomatoes.

April 10 – Small Space, Big Harvest: Growing a Square Foot Garden

7 p.m. – virtual (registered participants will receive a link)

Square foot gardening is a simple technique that helps you maximize the use of growing space in your garden. Join us to learn planning techniques for your vegetable garden.
