N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, returns in 2024 with more “Forks on Friday” gardening classes. We hope to see you at these lunch and learn classes, where garden forks meet dinner forks. Bring your lunch to enjoy while learning gardening skills at these classes on Fridays from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.

N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, works together with NC State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers of Forsyth County to present the Forks on Friday series.

Upcoming Forks on Friday classes are as follows:

February 2 – Flourishing in New Soil: Learning to Garden in the Piedmont

This panel presentation features gardeners who have been transplanted here from very different geographic regions. The panel will discuss how they learned to garden successfully in a new region.

March 1 – Gardens of the World

Dr. Robert McDuffie leads tours of gardens all over the world. His presentation will highlight some of his most exciting trips, including a recent trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos.
