We are pleased to announce the next 12-week course for the Wellness Produce Box Program!  

We hope you will join us every Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. starting September 7, 2023. The course is limited to 25 participants and will include hands-on cooking classes that will focus on preparing and cooking recipes using local ingredients from farmers in the Forsyth County area. Participants will receive a bi-weekly produce box with ingredients from local farmers. In combination with the cooking classes, participants will be given general nutrition information as well as an exercise component to the course. 

The goal of the course is to promote the health and overall well-being of those involved while promoting the consumption and production of local produce for the community.  

Classes will be held at:  N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center                                                   1450 Fairchild Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105
