Congratulations to Luke Arrowood, the winner of the 2021 North Central District Turkey Cookery Contest! Arrowood is 16 years old and is the son of Carla and Mark Arrowood of Lexington, NC. He is a rising Senior at Arrowood Academy and a member of N.E.S.T and Trailblazers Teen 4-H Clubs.

Arrowood participated in the Turkey Grilling category of the contest and created delicious turkey patties. The other categories of the Outdoor Cookery contest are Beef Grilling, Chicken Grilling, Pork Grilling, and Seafood Grilling.

Following this win, Arrowood will attend the Outdoor Cookery State Finals later in the fall.
