Youth Strawberry Freezer Jam – Come “Jam” with us!!!

Home Food Preservation is slowly phasing out with our young people nowadays. Many children do not know where food comes from and regularly consume less healthy foods. Fortunately, gardens still grow and food preservation procedures are still here, ready to be learned. “Put It Up! Food Preservation for Youth” curriculum is a series of informal educational lessons that guide youth to explore and understand the science of safe food preservation.

Wednesday, May 26, 2021, from 5–6:30 p.m.

Come join this FUN-filled session on making strawberry freezer jam for youth ages 10-17. Parents are welcome to join their youth and make it a family night!
