Round 2 of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) applications are due this Friday, December 11, 2020. They have added lots of new commodities to this second round and it looks like there might be money for most livestock producers. You will need to click on the web site and go to the specific crop of interest for details. If there is not a headline for a commodity of interest, click on specialty crops for a wide range of recently added commodities. This should benefit lots of our local producers. Even if you received the first round of payment, you must sign up for round two. You will not automatically receive them. And, you do NOT have to have received the first round in order to qualify for the second.

The program is administered by the Farm Service Agency and NOT N.C. Cooperative Extension. Complete an online application at CFAP.

For up to date information, please visit CFAP. This website will contain the application for submission. Please do NOT visit the Farm Service Agency office in person due to COVID-19 restrictions. If you need assistance with the application, you may call (336) 767-0720 Ext 2,.
