What’s in Bloom – Week of July 2

— Written By

Happy July! Lots of flowers are blooming here in the Piedmont. Now that it’s getting hot, gardeners should be focusing on the maintenance of their gardens rather than planting. It’s a good time to pull summer weeds that have gotten large, but hopefully have not yet started to flower.

We have lots of plants blooming at our Demonstration Garden and at the Arboretum and Gardens at Tanglewood Park. For more information on how to visit and even more photos, visit our What’s in Bloom page.

Hostas are blooming at the Arboretum and Demonstration Garden.
