Tool Lending Program

Here is how the program works:


  1. To reserve the tools you need, contact Seven Trotter at 336-703-2859 or seven_trotter@ncsu.edu.
    1. A complete list of available tools.
  2. Wait for a reply back from our office to confirm reservation.
  3. Before digging, contact 811 to prevent service interruption.
  4. Sign liability forms and pick up your tools from the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Forsyth County office at 1450 Fairchild Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27105.
  5. A refundable cash/check deposit for the total dollar value of the tools you borrow is required at the time of pickup.
  6. Use the tools as you need for up to 2 weeks.
  7. Clean and disinfect the tools using instructions provided to you at checkout.
  8. Return cleaned tools to the office and pick up your deposit.
