When people hear the word “avocado,” they immediately think of guacamole…yummy! But avocados are so versatile they may be enjoyed in many different recipes or garnish dishes too. We can make sauces and salad dressings with them. We can replace saturated fats like butter with avocados in our baked goods, or add it to salads, tacos, and smoothies too.
I myself was delightfully surprised when someone gave me a taste of Avocado Chocolate Mousse. You read right.. Avocado Chocolate Mousse! I tried it and you could not tell the difference from the traditional chocolate mousse which I don’t eat often. This healthy version of chocolate mousse is delicious and a big hit with family and friends.
