Join the collaborative work between N.C. Cooperative Extension and the William G. White Family YMCA for a 4-week series held on Fridays starting October 16, 2026, at 11:30 AM (Eastern Daylight Time).
- October 16 - Lesson 1: Learn about Living Well with Diabetes
- October 23 - Lesson 2: Learn about Carbohydrates and Nonnutritive Sweeteners
- October 30 - Lesson 3: Learn about Heart Health, Fats, and Sodium
- November 6 - Lesson 4: Learn about Vitamins, Minerals, Fiber & Putting it All Together
This interactive four-part series will equip you with practical skills to manage diabetes while preparing flavorful, nutritious dishes.

This in-person event takes place at the William G. White, Jr. Family YMCA.
NOTE: This event is open to the general public. You do NOT need to be a YMCA member to attend. Everyone must check in at the front desk with ID if not a YMCA member.
