First Annual Health Fair for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) - DHHS & N.C. Cooperative Extension
The Division of Employment and Independence for People with Disabilities (EIPD) is a division of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Its primary mission is to help individuals with disabilities achieve independence and economic self-sufficiency. EIPD provides a variety of services, including:
Vocational Rehabilitation: Helping people with disabilities find, secure, and maintain meaningful employment.
Independent Living Services: Assisting individuals with significant disabilities in living independently within their communities.
Assistive Technology: Connecting individuals with devices and tools that help them overcome daily barriers.
Business Services: Partnering with employers to recruit and retain qualified workers with disabilities.
N.C.
