Spring 2023 Gardening Classes at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park

We are happy to announce that our Arboretum Adult Education class series will continue with more fabulous offerings this spring! We hope you'll join us for these in-person classes on Wednesdays at noon.

Please note the location of the classes, as they vary.
  • Walnut Hall at Tanglewood Park: 4061 Clemmons Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012
  • The Arboretum Office: 4201 Manor House Circle, Clemmons, NC 27012

 

Registration is required via Eventbrite. Registration will open two weeks prior to each program date and close 24 hours before the program begins. If you need assistance with registration, call 336-703-2850.


March 8: Gardening for Pollinators

April 12: North Carolina Native Plants: A Botanical Bounty

Sheilah Lombardo, Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteer of Forsyth County

Enjoy an overview of some of our state’s lesser-known native plants and learn about a statewide program to protect rare species. At the end of this class, participants are invited to join us in the garden to view native plants.

May 3: Tools for Gardening

This presentation will cover common hand and powered garden tools, including tips for taking care of your tools and local resources.
