Due to popular demand, we are offering additional sessions of Prune Like a Pro at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park. Join Extension Agent Leslie Rose for a demonstration of pruning landscape trees and shrubs.

Two demonstrations will be held on Friday, February 24 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.. Spaces are limited and registration is requiredclick here to access the Prune Like a Pro Eventbrite page.

Class description: Proper pruning helps maintain the aesthetics and also improve the health of plants in your landscape. This presentation will review proper pruning practices for trees and shrubs in the landscape, including tools to use, when to prune, and a demonstration of how to make proper pruning cuts.

Weather permitting, these classes will be in-person and in the gardens at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park (4200 Manor House Circle, Clemmons, NC 27012). Please dress appropriately for the weather. Registered participants will receive further details.

This class will be led by Leslie Rose, Extension Horticulture Agent & Director of the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park.
