Summer 2025 Adult Education Gardening Classes

We are excited to invite you to our summer 2025 Adult Education classes at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park. Join us to learn more about gardening!

These programs are presented by N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, and the NC State Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Forsyth County. Our summer classes will occur on Wednesday at noon at Walnut Hall at Tanglewood Park. Registered participants will receive driving directions.

Registration is required due to space limitations. Registration for each program will be available 2 weeks prior to the program date and will close 24 hours prior to the program. Hydrangeas are among the most beloved, and sometimes frustrating, plants available to gardeners. Learn more about selecting and caring for hydrangeas, propagation, as well as pruning.

Explore ways to use color effectively to express your personality, evoke a mood, or add depth and interest to your garden.
