Learn About Gardening This Winter at the Arboretum at Tanglewood

The Adult Education series at the Arboretum at Tanglewood Park continues this winter with exciting classes in January and February. We hope to see you there!

These programs are presented by N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth County Center, and the NC State Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Forsyth County.

Saturday, January 27 - Prune Like a Pro


9 AM and 11 AM - Arboretum office


Proper pruning helps maintain the aesthetics and also improve the health of plants in your landscape. This presentation will review techniques for pruning ornamental shrubs and trees, including a demonstration.

Wednesday, February 21 - Seed Catalogs 101


12 PM - Walnut Hall


This presentation will help gardeners understand seed catalogs and will provide gardeners with the knowledge to select seeds that are the best for their particular garden needs.
