4-H teens with horse
The State 4-H Horse Show was held at the Hunt Horse Complex of the NC State Fairgrounds in July. There were 348 exhibitors that competed in 21 different divisions and across 158 classes. Forsyth County and the Forsyth 4-H Saddles and Spurs 4-H Club were Runner-up in the Sponsorship ad Challenge.
Alumni Showmanship
The Inaugural Alumni Showmanship Class was held as a fundraiser. The event raised $2,506 and boasted 29 exhibitors. Forsyth County had four exhibitors that finished in the top ten.

7 – Shannon Shelton and KM Smooth and Fancy
10 – Vickie Ogburn and Sittingontopoftheworld
Equine Artistic Expression
Forsyth County also had several winners in the Artistic Expression competition.
