Alex Arrowood was recognized as one of two Youth Volunteers of the Year for the North Central District of North Carolina Cooperative Extension at State 4-H Council Conference November 4-5, 2017 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The event hosted more than 220 youth and adults from across North Carolina. While at the conference, delegates had the chance to participate in interactive workshops, improve their leadership skills and learn with others from across the state.

Arrowood is the son of Mark and Carla Arrowood of Winston-Salem.
